We’re looking for a proactive and customer focussed individual to join us as an IT Operations Officer in our IT Service Management team.
You’ll be given the opportunity to work closely with the team to help to drive continual service improvement, help ensure team reporting is accurate and highlight any trends or potential risks.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
• Work within IT Operations but also collaborate closely and build up strong relationships with the various stakeholders across the Trust, including internal technical teams and in some cases, third party vendors to the Trust
• Produce reporting both regularly and upon request for IT Operations and our Senior Leadership Team
• Help us create and maintain documentation in relation to our Service Management Framework
• Support the teams in analysing incidents and requests highlighting trends and areas for improvement
• Support the teams with documenting and highlighting risk.
• Provide holiday/absence cover for IT Operations Officer within IT Supplier and IT Asset Management
• Experience of using analysis and management information to support business improvement
• Ability to collate and compile key management information, and analyse operational and service information
• Organisation and planning skills with the ability to manage own workload
• People and relationship management skills, enabling relationships externally and internally, to be built and maintained
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
